Kathleen & Paul’s wedding was beautiful and fun! They exchanged their vows at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church and had their reception at Raveneaux Country Club. Kathleen’s gown was simply beautiful – make sure you take a close look! We weren’t able to photograph the ceremony from inside the church but luckily, the doors were glass and we could shoot through them with only a little glare. It was a touching ceremony and the pastor, who insisted we call her Beth, commented on how beautiful this wedding was. I have to agree!!

Melinda & Tony’s wedding was gorgeous at the Petroleum Club this past Saturday. The city’s buildings provided a beautiful backdrop for their ceremony and reception. Spring flowers in pinks and orange and hot pink flower girl dresses brightened the rooms with vivid color. Melinda coordinated her wedding colors beautifully, right down to the hot pink blouse she wore at her engagement portrait session. We enlarged one for the guests to sign at the entry table at the wedding and her pink blouse in the picture coordinated perfectly with the hot pink and orange flowers on the table! After a cloudy morning, the sun came out and gave us a beautiful blue sky as the backdrop for Melinda & Tony to exchange their vows. It was beautiful! Later in the evening, after the bouquet and garter tosses, we went outside with the couple for some street photography. Some of my favorite images of the evening!

The power of light! Trinity Lutheran Church in Klein has a beautiful circle of light that shown over the couple during their ceremony and their reception at Shirley Acres was transformed by purple uplighting. The last image is of Kalli singing. Such a voice! She gave an awesome performance!

This was my first wedding down by the Wortham Theater on the bayou level by the waterfall. A small intimate wedding with just family and a few friends, it was beautiful and full of love.

Afterward we had a photo shoot around downtown Houston. Great Fun!!
